Summer In Italy

Summer seems to be the time of year everyone sets sail on exciting adventures and European travels so set sail on this adventure with us! We will be 'wandering & roving' to Milan, Italy with our friend Amber. She shares her favorite spots and things to do in Milan and fun day trips to Lake Como!

We're here to help plan your next Euro trip and inspire you with all that Milan has to offer!

Amber and I connected over our love for travel and sustainable fashion. We thought you would love to see how she wandered through the streets of Milan in her pieces from the shop.

A Note From Amber:

"Hi, I am Amber, a fashion and travel-enthusiast. I was born and raised in Belgium, and moved to Milan, Italy about four years ago.

Milan turned out to be the perfect place for me! I was able to pursue a professional career in fashion, and I can use all my free time to wander and explore!

While the city offers a vibrant environment with an endless array of cute cafes, beautiful architecture and culture, its surroundings are filled with natural wonders! You can easily get to the lakes (Maggiore, Como and Garda) by train, the seaside is only a two-hour drive, and the mountains are easy to reach as well (when the weather is clear, you can even see them from Milan!).

I love to live in such a versatile environment, and this reflects into my wardrobe too. Most of my outfits are suitable for a stroll around the city, as well as a day trip to the lake or the mountains!

This is why I am in love with my outfit of Wander & Rove! Sarah sent me the Vega Shorts and Pandore Shirt from Eve Gravel and I love how you can play around with them!

For a walk in the city, I combined the shirt with a pair of jeans shorts and a simple white top. This makes an elevated, but casual look.

While for a day at Lake Como, exploring the little towns and spending time on the beach, I paired the shorts and shirt together. The light material made it perfect for the hot weather and the wide fit made it really comfortable to move in.

I hope that all of you who read this article get the chance to visit Milan and the beautiful lakes! It has so much to offer, so something for everyone!"
